Before and After School Care
The Before and After School Care program at Maribyrnong is coordinated by Communities@Work from the school hall each day. This program is available for students enrolled at Maribyrnong Primary in kindergarten to year 6. The program operates from 7.30 am to 8.45 am and 3.00 pm to 6.00 pm. Bike Safety
The Federal Police advise that children under 9 years of age should not ride a bike without an adult riding/walking alongside. Child ability to gauge distances accurately develops at about 8 or 9 years of age, thus younger children are at risk to themselves if riding alone. All children riding to school should wear a correctly fitted helmet and bikes should be stored in the bike racks with a lock. Students are required to walk their bike once on the school grounds to ensure the safety of everyone.
