Music Scheme (P&C)
***Please be advised that both Piano and String (Guitar and Violin) lessons are fully subscribed for 2019 with quite long waiting lists. While you are welcome to submit an Expression of Interest (available from the front office) for lessons, the likelihood of lesson availability within the next 12-18 months is quite low.
The Maribyrnong Primary School Music Program, organised by a sub-committee of the P&C Association, provides individual professional tuition in piano, guitar and violin. Piano lessons are conducted at the school each school day afternoon (except Friday) between 3.00pm and 6.00pm, and before school on Monday and Thursday. Concerts are held twice a year to enable students to experience performing in the presence of an audience. String (Guitar and Violin) lessons are conducted on a Monday afternoon between 3.30pm and 6.00pm. In addition to individual lessons, the String teacher also offers group lessons for siblings from the same family. Further information may be obtained through the Music Scheme Coordinator as listed on the P&C page of this website.
The Music Scheme program is coordinated by our P&C. Kristy Gould is the current Music Scheme coordinator. Kristy can be contacted via email on firstname.lastname@example.org
